So in my family we use a lot of Yiddish in everyday speech

stopitsgingertime:

  • because on both sides of my family, all my grandparents’ first language was Yiddish.
  • So when I’m out in public and I say something like “Stop fydreying my kup!” or “This looks ferkokt” or “What kind of a schmatah is that?”
  • I get all these weird looks
  • and I’m just like

  •
