i am so embarrassing sometimes.
Every year, my school does their own version of American Idol with students as contestants.  I work for student government and this year I’m one of the people in charge.  We had auditions today and decided to have funny fake auditions for the bloopers to go on our website and make it more like the real American Idol.  Sooo… I sang a heartbreakingly tone deaf a cappella version of...

femmetastic: She thought that I was afraid because if I was in a relationship with a girl, it would be harder for me because I’d have to publicly  admit that I wasn’t straight to people. I think it’s the opposite.  If you’re in a relationship with someone, it’s like, here is this person towards whom I am directing all my sexual energy.  If you’re really uncomfortable with the whole thing, you...

sometimes i write things.
I had class last night and my professor had us do a writing exercise.  She showed us a picture of a typewriter and we just had to write for maybe five minutes.  I usually hate the pieces I write for in-class exercise, but part of me almost likes the way this turned out.  So I’ll post it here, just this once. —— When I was little, I always hated going shopping with my parents,...

I just wrote and submitted a story for my fiction workshop that has a trans narrator.  I’m serious, if somebody in my class is an asshole, I’m going to flip a shit.

letterstoghosts: ohcardigan: and I had a good time telling my brother he’s actually a girl. And a lesbian too. 24 and still gullible as fuck. A couple of months ago, I was at a store and one of his music videos was on tv. I stood there watching it for a few minutes and i seriously thought he was a 13 year old lesbian until I found out a few girls in my class loved “him”.  >.> ...

haircut advice.
I want to get my haircut today.  I want it to be a “male” haircut vs. a “female haircut” where they try to make my short hair look “feminine” by cutting it weird.  How do I go about telling them this?  Any ideas for haircuts I should consider?  Pictures I should take with me to show them?

…what books people are reading and/or what books they want to read. I started to answer but it was too long, so… I am re-reading the Harry Potter series at the moment — I started yesterday and I am about 30 pages into the third book.  I’m also reading Understanding Comics by Scott McCloud for my graphic novel course, which starts Monday.  Last night, I finished Stitches:...

This has to be stopped, so many people are putting false hope into something that, while it MAY help a few people, is nothing more than a fad. This should be required reading for anyone wearing one of those stupid fucking t-shirts.  Seriously.
